๐Ÿ‘‘ The Queen's Corner:

After six months of staying put in Fort Lauderdale, I was itching for adventure. So I recently enjoyed a 5 day road trip through the breathtaking landscapes of Utah and it was a great way to get over feeling stuck at home.

Exploring Zion and Bryce Canyon National Parks with a friend was nothing short of magical. Every turn provided awe-inspiring views and while driving we found a spot not often visited, hidden between Bryce and Escalante. Every moment reminded me of the beauty and wonder we can find in the great outdoors of the United States. Keep an eye out for my upcoming guide to visiting these parks and their surroundings. If you have any questions or tips about these destinations, hit reply and let's chat.

Speaking of Zion National Park, two hikes stand out for their awe-inspiring experiences: Angel's Landing and The Narrows. Angel's Landing is known for its thrilling ascent to a breathtaking viewpoint. Hikers navigate narrow rock ridges by holding on to a chain and experience dizzying drop-offs for unparalleled views of the canyon below.

On the other hand, The Narrows offers a unique adventure, as hikers wade through the Virgin River between tall canyon walls, fully immersing themselves in the park's stunning natural beauty. Both hikes offer unforgettable experiences that showcase the best of Zion's landscapes and leave visitors in awe.

Packing for this trip was a challenge! I found myself needing far more clothes than my usual essentials. Imagine preparing for a two-week journey that includes everything from rugged hiking in varying temperatures (30-60 degrees Fahrenheit) to networking with brands at a media marketplace, topped off with conference festivities and even a red carpet. Despite my best efforts, I still managed to forget some items, like a travel umbrella โ€“ only necessary on one rainy hiking day. Check out this blog post where you can find some tips to help you avoid overpacking on your own trips!
